Steve Webster and Tony Hewitt winUnparalleled race action from Anderstorp, home of the Swedish Grand Prix. With only three rounds to go, maximum points were vital for one of the trio currently leading the 500cc title race. Prepare for another fast and furious Honda versus Yamaha confrontation with the Wayne duo, Rainey and Gardner battle it out with Eddy Lawson for the top slot. But keep a close eye on the ever-charging Christian Sarron (Yamaha)…
Sidecar action - Steve Webster and Tony Hewitt (LCR Krauser) were still close enough to the clip flying Swiss Rolf Biland's wings. Webster had the edge in qualifying, but no-one could underestimate four times Sidecar World Champion Biland. A win here would mean another title for Biland, a win for Webster keeps his title aspirations still alive. After a feast of season long 250cc battles, the title fight is between the Spanish duo of Sito Pons (Honda) and Juan Garriga (Yamaha). Described as a 'race-long grudge battle', these two 'combatants' had an inevitable coming-together in the final stages of the race. But, you’ll just have to watch the video to find out what happens.
