Description

1983 World Champion Freddie Spencer survived a crash hours before the Spanish Grand Prix at Jarama and went on to beat 1984 Champion Eddie Lawson! Spencer and the Honda were invincible. He had no trouble disposing of the Lawson Yamaha threat and this film brilliantly captures the style of the Californians as they show why they are the world's top two riders. Even Randy Mamola and Raymond Roche weren't a match for the rival Japanese factory men. Indeed, French honour was upheld by Christian Sarron's fighting third place demonstrating that his 1984 250cc title wasn't a fluke. Wayne Gardner continued his plucky form and made the top four at Jarama, keeping the championship wide open.
