Description

All eyes turn to the future in this episode of the Motorsport Show. Marcus Simmons, Deputy Editor of Autosport, joins us in the studio to celebrate Mick Schumacher's amazing F3 hat-trick last weekend at the Nurburgring. Even though Michael's son scored his first F3 win at the end of July, he has since been the man to beat in what many agree to be one of the most competitive F3 seasons on record. We also meet another very talented young Russian destined for F1 success. Nikita Mazepin has won three times this year in GP3 and has already proved to be very quick in F1 testing with Force India. And Craig Scarborough analyses the latest, 2019 F1 helmet rules plus Ferrari's recent attempts to cover their on-board cameras before the race starts. This episode also includes Peter Windsor's description of the Singapore lap and a short tribute to Ronnie Peterson, the brilliant Swede who lost his life 40 years ago at Monza.
