Description

New Ferrari signing Charles Leclerc was on course for a sensational victory in just his second race for the team, until engine problems struck in the closing stages. There was some confusion post-race over what the problem was until Ferrari clarified it was related to one of the cylinders in the V6 engine. In this video Jake Boxall-Legge and Stuart Codling join Glenn Freeman to explain the effects of the problem, plus how Ferrari tried to manage it to reduce the impact on Leclerc’s speed as he fought to hang on to a podium finish. They also assess how the Ferrari v Mercedes battle is shaping up after two contrasting race weekends in 2019.
