Description

The Manx International is regarded as Britain's fastest rally. Russell Brookes was bidding for a hat-trick of victories, as well as trying to consolidate his position at the top of leaderboard in the Shell Oils Open Rally Championship. The only person who could thwart Brookes' chances of Championship success was Colin McRae in the revolutionary Subaru Legacy'. Meanwhile Francois Chatriot fought valiantly with Brooks in another eventful and thrilling Manx International Rally. This video captures the triumph and tragedy implicit in every top-class motoring event, and presents the flavour of the marvellous atmosphere of one of the most prestigious events of the rally year. Featuring in car camera with Mark Higgins (Vauxhall Nova).
