Why the New Aston Martin Vantage is Not For Me | TEST DRIVE

The new Aston Martin Vantage landed, and of course it grabbed my attention as a potential Shmeemobile alongside my Vantage GT8, the last of the previous generation. After expressing interest and completing a spec, the final price landed higher than I had expected. Now that the car has arrived to test drive, do I regret my decision, should I still be buying one?

For the new Vantage, Aston Martin worked with the expertise of AMG for the engine; a 4.0l biturbo V8 making 510hp and 685Nm. Combining that with an 8spd automatic gearbox, stylish looks and modern interior makes it quite an interesting proposition. However, having looked into a car and running through a spec, it came out to approximately £150,000, but is it worth that price?
