The Race Of Champions left Europe for only the second time in its 25-year history, heading to the Far East and Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium. The field featured a host of superstars from around the world including two-wheeled greats Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan.

Romain Grosjean made up for a difficult end to his F1 season by beating three motor sport legends in the knockout stages to take his first Champion of Champions title.

Vettel and Schumacher had already added the ROC Nations Cup to their haul of silverware for the sixth year in succession. The German pair managed to win all ten of their races in Saturday's event, including a final victory over a strong Team France pairing of Grosjean and the 2011 Champion of Champions Sébastien Ogier.
