From Spain to the Czech Republic to Denmark we have journeyed through rain, wind and sun. And so it’s back to the ancestral home of karting. In northern Italy, just outside the ancient city of Cremona lies the Circuito Angelo Bergamonti named in honour of the late Grand Prix motorcyclist. For the second year in a row, the FIA Karting Academy Trophy descends on the circuit, but for the first time the OK and OK Junior classes are racing here too and on a circuit where overtaking is tough and tyre degradation is particularly high, three FIA Karting champions will emerge from a very competitive weekend.
